Karpaz Places to Eat or Drink

The Karpaz has many more restaurants and cafes than first meets the eye.  Part of the enjoyment of touring the area is to take time out and sample food and drink in the not so known places.  Little Gems appear now and again.  We once pulled in to a cafe frontage to find that turned out to be part of the owners house and as we sat cooling with a glass of Coke the son introduced his elderly father and mother.  His mother was a wonderful jolly woman, typically Cypriot in appearance in black clothing, she had a lovely, craggy, weather worn face which lit up beautifully when she smiled.  One of those faces that stays with you forever.  The father spoke very good English and regaled us with the time he worked for the British Army and was shipped off to Aden.  The son showed memorabilia from his many dives around the coast.  All together a really enjoyable break and we were glad that we had gone off the beaten track to bump into them.

This is a list of places I know ( mostly around Yenierenkoy ), that are thought of as the 'usual'.  If you know any more then please get in touch.   As dining out is very subjective I am not going to grade them.  Opinions may of course be invited on the discussion board.
